Having shown new and unseen works by over 40 artists from the UK and international lands afar through the medium of 3 limited edition mini publications, Biteproof presents its 4th release which heralds the beginning of a new format to be made available on a bi-monthly basis. The multi skilled Dan Kitchener aka Dank brings to you this new piece set to the title of “Bomb the nation, Depredation, and a bullet riddled town called Decimation”. Dark, nightmarish and typically fantastical, Dank follows through with his WW1 series of works with this digitally painted version of his Trench Spectre. This A2 poster is printed on 220gsm premium satin paper and is built to last indoors and outdoors using UV stable ink. Limited to an edition of 50, each print is hand signed and numbered by Dan Kitchener. Furthermore each print comes with a die cut sticker of one of Dank ‘s Mimi Slaughter characters tailor designed just for Biteproof. All this comes for the princely sum of £26.50 including postage and packaging.

My names Dan Kitchener and I am an painter,artist and illustrator living in Essex and working all over London and the South East. My work has a gritty urban theme, taken from everyday life and the surroundings and environment I experience daily. I love to find beauty in the most mundane of scenes and particularly love the relationship with light, shadow and composition. I try to fill my work with a tangible mood, a sense of being there. I work using a variety of mediums, spray paint, paint markers, stencils and paint for my canvases. I also produce a lot of digital paintings and illustrations which again follow similar themes, lonely urban landscapes punctuated by flickering, faulty street lights, high rise flats rising from misty horizons over concrete grey skies....
