Drawing from my background in calligraphic ink wash and formal training in experimental animation, I create layered, meditative landscapes using encaustic wax, ink, and charcoal. My practice is a personal ritual—a way to find stillness within the chaotic flow of a globalized life.
After a decade of independent documentary filmmaking and founding the Taipei-based art space Studio 2224, I have returned to my roots in painting to deconstruct geography into states of mind.
