In the delicate interplay of heritage, history, and culture, my artistic journey delves into the heart of the Middle East with the series "Collective Memory." Through the expressive marriage of collage and painting on canvas, infused with a contemporary narrative composition, I strive to unveil the nuanced layers of the ordinary lives that form the vibrant mosaic of this rich and diverse region. Collective Memory - Middle East is a visual odyssey that seeks to amplify the voices of the everyday individuals whose stories often remain hidden beneath the weight of broader historical narratives. Through the meticulous technique of collages, I assemble fragments of time, memories, and cultural symbols, creating a dynamic tapestry that reflects the intricate and multifaceted nature of Middle Eastern identity. The canvas becomes a living chronicle, a repository of collective experiences that bridge the past with the present. The fusion of collage and painting serves as a metaphor for the complex layers of history, mirroring the intricate dance of tradition and the contemporary. Each piece is a composition of diverse elements, echoing the rich and resilient spirit of the people whose lives are woven into the fabric of the Middle East.
