About me and my path to art I have always been a musically inclined person; I have been painting, writing and drawing since I was a child. I have been painting with acrylics for about 20 years, and gradually structures have been added to my work. I am constantly educating myself; I studied at the art academy in Überlingen and am always open to new techniques and forms of expression. Many things fascinate and inspire me to create new works. Here on the island of Reichenau, nestled in Lake Constance with its changing moods and impressions, I am constantly inspired to create new paintings and collages that are characterized by imagination and moods. I work abstractly, allowing my pictures to develop organically. I work intuitively, allowing the materials to take effect and undergo chemical processes, before adding my own personal touch to the whole. This is very exciting and interesting work. In 2020, I opened my studio on the island of Reichenau in Lake Constance, and 2023 was the first exhibition year in which I launched exciting and successful exhibitions, followed by exhibitions abroad in 2024 and 2025.
