"Diversity" Recycled Fabric Wall Piece Artwork

'Diversity' is made of recycled fabrics sewn into forms to represent different cultures, ages, styles and more. I believe the beauty of how diverse we really are is not fully appreciated. This is why the figures blend into pieces at first, then when you look, you'll begin to see the forms, the shapes, the people! Their hearts blend as well. There are Seven Figures. I believe together we can figure out how to make our earth healthier. This is why I create my Boro Inspired pieces with Recycled fabrics. I scout for organic fabrics, and use blends too. I get many Vintage pieces from the thrift shop before it heads to a landfill...I want to extend the life of the fabrics in a way that promotes positive messages on Humanity. This is one. This is on Diversity. I am strongly inspired due to my own ethnic background. I believe learning from each other is key to being a healthy world on all levels. Fabrics may include cotton woven, blends, denim, vintage. Sashiko stitching techniques include Seed Stitching, X's, Free-Style, French Knots. and Regular Running Stitches I have hundreds of videos on creating with scrap fabrics on my YT channel and Tiktok Channel. "Diversity" is a Boro "Inspired" Piece influence from Japanese Patch-work with blends of western techniques. It took approx a month to complete. Sewn on Fabric tag on back with the Title, Date, Year, My Signature. Dowel Opening Approx 1" +/- fits through very nicely. (Dowel not included) Width Approx 37" and Length Approx 33" ** Please note due to different tensions in fabric and the humble effect it is meant to portray the measures may vary and this is Not a machine manufactured piece** This is an art piece all handmade with visible stitching where 'Fraying' is an intricate part of the piece.
