About The Artwork
Inspired by the power of human conscience, self-consciousness and philosophy as a means for knowledge of ourselves, I reflect on the universal issues facing our globe that require distal thinking to review human conscience towards reshaping humanity. My artwork represents my voice and inner depths to communicate with viewers, purposely to encourage people to use their conscience and to discover its power to do them and society good. It explores my joy of having a moral sense for a clear conscience. Conscience is my inner voice guiding me to the truth and giving me the ability for correct judgement. As Kant defines it in the Metaphysics of Morals, “conscience is conceived of as an inner court.” I am also reminded of Leonardo da Vinci’s Quote, “I love those who can smile in trouble, who can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection. This is the business of little minds to shrink, but they whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves their conduct, will pursue their principles unto death.” I highlight the power of vivid colors and the visual joy of their connections, for it plays a significant role in one’s memory, emotion, energy and conscience.
