'Finger-Prints' Artwork

Hello and welcome, my name is Bathsheba Acres. I specialise in fine art and have been working professionally as an artist for over a decade. Based in the UK, from an early age I did not stay still for long and found myself travelling not just to see different environments, be immersed in other cultures and meet amazing individuals but to experience, and I mean TRULY experience life. Through music, film, performance, dance, stories from lives vastly different and unknown from my own, I have discovered and continue to discover how mysterious and intriguing the paradox of the human soul is, and how through different mediums we express this intangible life force that drives us all. ​ With my roots residing in a media background I have explored the various corners of the universe of art, finding myself creating book cover designs, tattoo designs, portraits (both human and pet), realist art, live drawing and landscape painting, but whatever happens I continue to find my feet racing me back to surrealism. Each person can look upon a piece or expression of artwork and have the opportunity to see something that nobody else can witness, for an unknown reason it appeals and connects with them, it touches their soul, that incomprehensible moment is a moment to capture and it drives my imagination to keep creating.
