Beginning with a digital composition, then painted with acrylic on the screen of a 2008 iMac, the artist bridges past and present technology, integrating the very tools of digital creation into the artwork's physicality. This initial digital layer is then photographed and printed with photographic precision, before being layered further with acrylic paint, crayon, and pastels. Each medium—whether crayon’s raw texture or the precision of digital printing—works in concert, creating a dynamic surface that demands close inspection. Thematically, the piece examines the opulent lifestyles of the ultra-wealthy, referencing the codes of stock markets and cryptocurrencies that have facilitated this affluence. The textures mimic a ballet, merging erratic stock tickers and cryptic codes with explosive, emotive strokes of color. It is both a reflection of digital age economics and a celebration of the chaos and beauty within it. Through its layered composition, the artwork asks us to consider the tension between control and randomness in a world increasingly shaped by data and digital currencies. The result is a vibrant, multi-textured celebration of both modern luxury and the algorithms that silently drive it.
