Mariadela Araujo is a Venezuelan / Spanish artist, designer and florist. Based in Barcelona and working worldwide. She runs a studio / workshop in an old textile factory building in downtown Barcelona, there, she researches, experimenting and create artworks, using different textile materials and bold colour palettes, elevating traditional artisan techniques, such as weaving, embroidery and textile assembly.
Mariadela has created multiple works of art, from large format pieces and installations for public spaces to smaller experimental works, or private clients.
