About The Artwork
“Horologio, Flooded” is one work of my series of Venice, Flooded. Although Venice floods annually from time immemorial, the recent floods have been record breaking, resulting from higher sea level rise, due to climate change. A memorably beautiful place, the images of Venice when flooded are even more beautiful in their impossible urgency, the threat of utter destruction of these wondrous buildings.
