Hotlands Series No 1 Artwork

To wake up everyday and see natures beauty surrounding us is a gift. The changing light tones, weather patterns and the ever evolving systems of the natural world that envelop us provide a wealth of inspiration. Through my art I want to capture these precious moments, transporting the viewer into a state of tranquility, peace and harmony. To experience the meditative power of art from the relationship between the colours and textures,soothing the soul. In part of my work I specialize in working on gold and metal leaf with acrylic glazes. This technique allows me to use vibrant hues and soft sparkly iridescent pigments which change with the light, always giving the viewer a different experience. Awakening the senses and celebrating the beauty of the sky, land and sea. Helen is a artist and sculptor, born in the UK. She studied at three Art and Design schools, she has lived in Chicago Illinois USA and currently resides in the Marina Alta area in Spain where she has her studio. She has exhibited in galleries and exhibitions internationally and her work is in private collections around the world. In 2016 she was commissioned to produce a bronze horse sculpture to be presented to the late Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
