About The Artwork

🌀✨ In the labyrinth of dreams, Alice searches for her wonderland ✨🌀 Immerse yourself in the world of dreams with my latest canvas where reality and fantasy intertwine, tangible and ephemeral. 🎨📸 A journey into Alice's universe, lost in a maze of steps and corridors. 🏰 The stairs, like the ribbons of Alice's rebellious and confused thoughts, twist and intersect. At the heart of this visual enigma, the Cheshire Cat's smile floats in the shadows, a silent guide with eyes full of wisdom. He watches over Alice, and witnesses to her dreamlike quest for Wonderland. 🐱💭 This work is an ode to the imagination, a bridge between dream and reality, where each detail invites escapism. Join Alice in this fantastic journey, where each step is hope, each glance a discovery. 🌟👁️ This mixed-media creation consists of photo collages captured through my lens, digitally created images, and paintings, creating portals to imaginary worlds. 🌌🚪

Photoreportage is the starting point of my artistic research since 1988. Already passionate about capturing the moment, I learned to choose and highlight detail at the film development stage. The use of paint did not allow me to reproduce my feelings or to be faithful to the detail of the place. The collage of the fragments of these photographed memories then impose themselves on me as the beginning of my paintings. Who is behind this apparent reality, behind these different points of view? What do we see through the filter of our conditioning and our beliefs? A form is only an appearance, a moving reality. What the eye perceives is actually made up of emptiness and energy. Can we free ourselves from the simple form to go further beyond what we think we see?
