A unique mixed media wall sculptural artwork, done on canvas with unique and beautiful texture created using repurposed plastics. Nature and ocean has been my major source of inspiration, I often try to recreate the structures and patterns found in these natural elements. This artworks is inspired by the aerial view of pristine blue sea. 100’s of polka dots textures are individually handcut and assembled to form this organic pattern and then assembled on canvas using epoxy, creating a thick texture, which would elevate the contemporary and modern aesthetics of any wall space. Project - 'For the planet' : I started doing sculptural artworks using repurposed plastics since 2015, after a pledge to work for a greener planet. I consider it to be my way of contribution for a sustainable planet. So by collecting one of my original works, you are indirectly contributing for a cause. The artwork is of size 60cm diameter and It will be signed on front and back. certificate of authenticity will be attached. NB: The pictures of artworks in situ might not be in exact scale. It is just for a visual reference.

Swapna Namboodiri create assemblages, installations and sculptural artworks using mixed mediums including found objects and repurposed plastics. Her art practice is inextricably intertwined with sustainability. Nature being her favorite subject, she try to embrace the beauty of textures and patterns around her and create a visual treat in her works using reclaimed plastics. Her works often reflects the Japanese philosophy ‘Wabi-Sabi’- to embrace the beauty of imperfections. She embraces the imperfect organic shapes created by the hand-cut single-use plastics and highlights the textures in her artworks, making it a unique collectible piece of art!
