In the azure depths, where the mystery is woven, hides an enigmatic, poisonous, and luminous woman, the Medusa. His soul dances between two waters, marveling you as soon as you cross his path. Her face shimmers with a celestial glow, where the eternal stars are reflected. Her delicate hair, undulating and slender, intertwine in a halo, soft and subtle, the color of the rising dawn, carrying your heart along with their meander. Its caresses, like the waves, brush against your skin, it is in this in-between that your rarest, hoped-for, and feared emotions are born. A woman of the depths, she embodies the fragility and strength of nature, and this canvas is a tribute to the beauty and complexity of our marine ecosystem. Immerse yourself in this emotional journey through "Medusa Woman" and let yourself be enchanted by the disturbing harmony of your own feelings immersed in the sea. When I saw them in that display case they were so colorful almost fluorescent it was hard to believe they were edible. I preferred to use them as a twirling colored palette rather than eating them and thus transcribe this feeling of disgust for a series of canvases bordering on abstraction.

Photoreportage is the starting point of my artistic research since 1988. Already passionate about capturing the moment, I learned to choose and highlight detail at the film development stage. The use of paint did not allow me to reproduce my feelings or to be faithful to the detail of the place. The collage of the fragments of these photographed memories then impose themselves on me as the beginning of my paintings. Who is behind this apparent reality, behind these different points of view? What do we see through the filter of our conditioning and our beliefs? A form is only an appearance, a moving reality. What the eye perceives is actually made up of emptiness and energy. Can we free ourselves from the simple form to go further beyond what we think we see?
