About The Artwork
This is inspired by Gorky, Arshile style of Abstract Expressionism. I wanted to convey how we feel trapped within the motion of movement. Each part signifies a section where we are trying to break through and discover new concepts. The little being on the right hand side signifies me as a human, trapped within my environment. Its position implies that rather than seeking approval, I should be facing another way. I hope for the viewers to feel that own's self discovery can be greater than others recognition.
