originally trained in Fine Art , before working for twenty years or so as a fashion advertising photographer based in London and abroad, moving into digital illustration and digital art as well as lecturing and teaching returning to drawing and painting in 2010. I am fascinated by the coast and now have established myself near the west wales coast with a studio. I am using a mixture of photographic , digital and drawing and even collage in creating my pieces. some will contain many of theses elements as the image is developed,. working in series enables me to explore ideas and configuration of composition, sometimes these will take on a more intuitive feel as i explore the possibilities of each image, but fundamentally they are derived from a delight in colour and line, combined with textures that have a graphic simplicity to them.
