My research is based on finding other ways to tell stories through images, colors and words; stories that recreate the world of others and often mine. It is a search for that dialogue between my reality, my feelings, my emotions and discovering that it is a part of a whole in which all humans live. I’m interested in stories that make special, different and sometimes inconsistent our daily life. The central theme of my work is the city, which contains us. The most fascinating thing about the city is I can invent things within it, I can recreate feelings and experiences. I can tell my own experiences and I can interpret how “others” manage to live within it. I like inconsistency, nonsense and absurdity elements. I’m who inhabits the cities for not everyone can live in this city, but I want the public to be a participant, to feel the sense of belonging that speaks to one’s sensations, to find a place where to dream. It is only from the act of making that is possible to re configure new shapes, I discovered a chain that never breaks, which always – regardless how thin that line is - is part of a greater story. My work comes from a place sometimes jovial and funny, sometimes with a spiritual and romantic background. I want the audience to relate to the work from the unconscious and the visceral, because art generates a hopeless feeling of freedom, a reality without limits.
