Hannah Pratt is a London-based artist who explores the connections between art, science, and the unique ways people see the world. As a neurodiverse artist, she blends technology with physical materials to dive into her passion for space and the magical worlds found in science fiction and fantasy. These places have always offered her a sense of freedom and a way to express a perspective that the everyday world doesn't always understand. Whether she is studying the colors of deep space photography or building musical scores from the radio waves of stars, she finds ways to give these invisible spaces a voice. Hannah uses coding and data to create digital elements, which she then builds upon using hands-on techniques like finger painting, working with film, or merging embroidery with digital prints. She is drawn to this mix because of its "beautiful unpredictability"—no two outcomes are ever the same, making every piece individual. Her hope is that viewers have a similarly unique experience, noticing the small variations or "flaws" that give a glimpse into her specific way of seeing the world. Throughout her career, Hannah has exhibited widely and taken part in some incredible projects. She has launched her work into orbit etched onto a satellite, toured observatories to study the cosmos firsthand, and visited the Large Hadron Collider. She has also developed graphic scores that have been performed by classically trained musicians, further bridging the gap between our world and the vast universe beyond.
