Icons are images that have the power to represent with a few simple traits, an entire chain of data that our brain processes and elaborates when it sees the corresponding icon represented. Icon of the orisha goddess Oyá. Orishas are deities of the Yoruba religion who are believed to have acted as intermediaries between the gods and men. The Yoruba religion has its origins in West Africa. Much of their believers were used as slaves in the Americas, and were forbidden to have a belief of their own, for this reason Africans disguised their gods as saints of the Christian religion. But when freedom came, these ancient forces that had never died, flourished vigorously, not only in communities of African origin, but everywhere in the world. Oya is the goddess of storms and dominates the four winds. She helps to sustain the life of the waters granted by Oshun and Yemaya, without the presence of Oya we would die, we could not breathe, there is no living being on this planet who cannot live without air, fish depend on oxygen, the Earth itself needs oxygen. She is a woman of extraordinary beauty, with an enviable body, and sometimes has the features of a white woman even if her skin color is dark. In Yoruba mythology this goddess represents the intensity of grim and dark feelings and the immense world of the dead. She is a warrior. Why buying Oyá ? To activate in your psyche, through a psychomagic process, the power of creating a bridge with the kingdom of the dead. Explore the dark forces to put them at the service of good and justice. You need Oyá when you have to ward off fear. When we have to overcome the darkness and defeat the horrible monsters (real or psychic) that stifle our happiness and whose struggle requires the maximum of our courage. The lightning of our storm.
