Pull me out I am 2/3 Artwork

I've been working in Mental health for the last 4 months, and have come across people from different walks of life. A lot of time it is ongoing power dynamic within oneself between the desire to get helped & the unwillingness to put said desire in action. "Pull me out I am" is the second painting of a set of 3 showcasing the different ways in which one may be stuck and attempting to break barriers. Specific to set 2/3, the main message is: Whereto should i run & to whom should i pray while he preys on my helplessness. I'm alive still; i must claim, i must shout, i must thump and cry out PULL ME OUT .. PULL ME OUT .. PULL ME OUT! I hope this piece makes you feel something either similar or different to what it was meant to evoke. I paint Digitally for I constantly seek freedom; freedom of expression, freedom of mobility. As such, I prefer a medium that allows me to paint on the go. I chose this subject matter for it relates to my current field, but i've narrowed it down to black mental health and gender expressions for it hits home and is often overlook by others and by us. I do not have a specific style yet as i am very new to painting, and my expression is so free that it may drastically vary from piece to piece.
