Greetings! I'm Gurdish Pannu, a Punjabi artist whose journey in the realm of fine art began to unfurl in 1988, a pivotal year that saw me graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the esteemed Chandigarh College of Fine Arts, Punjab. For over three decades since, my world has been a vibrant interplay of color, form, and emotion, translated onto countless canvases. My artistic practice is deeply rooted in the rich tapestry of life, drawing inspiration from the subtle nuances of human experience, the breathtaking grandeur of nature, and the timeless narratives that shape our collective consciousness. Each brushstroke is an exploration, a meditation, and a sincere attempt to evoke a dialogue between the viewer and the art. Through my paintings, I invite you to step into a world where tradition meets contemporary expression, where vibrant hues dance with contemplative shadows, and where every piece tells a story waiting to be discovered. It's a journey I've cherished, and one I continue with unwavering passion and dedication. He's been presented with the following awards; - 1980 Punjab educational board (Sangrur region) appreciation award. - 1981 Punjab educational board (Patiala region) appreciation award. - 1982 Punjab educational board (Sangrur region) appreciation award. -1982 Science and Cultural Exhibition appreciation award. -1983 Punjab educational board (Sangrur region) appreciation award. -1985 Techno Fest 85 Exhibition (Chandigarh) appreciation award. - 1986 appreciation award at Govt. Polytechnic College, Ambala city, Haryana. -2000 appreciation award by Environment Welfare society, Punjab. -2013 appreciation award by Lalit Kala Akademy, Punjab.
