ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The rock band queen inspired this piece with the amount of amazing songs they created and shape music. I hope they can remember moments they had when they were listening to queen music. I use all vinyl records to make this. The red vinyl is Queen Forever vinyl, it also has a limited edition picture disc i was able to use as well.

"Art decorates space, music decorates time" In my work, I try to convey the quote above. It is myself trying to visually show how music makes me feel. My hope is that it brings the same feeling to you about my work. Dead wax refers to the unused space between the last song and the label on a vinyl record. I only use vinyl with errors, scratches, warped, or records reproduced currently. It can take me weeks or years to find records for pieces and sometimes I only find one ever. I carve them out with a wood-burning tool and then sand and mount them to a wood panel.
