About The Artwork

This piece draws inspiration from my earlier series featuring robots. I continuously experiment with various styles, palettes, and textures. Yet, within these transformations, I find traces of myself, akin to a personal insignia embodied by the robot. The incorporation of vibrant oranges and blues, alongside my recurring characters such as Phill the cat and the bully, adds depth and narrative to the artwork.

Hello. I'm Veronika Fox. My maiden last name is Sviatetska, and I was born and raised in Odesa, Ukraine, in 1995. Due to the war, I moved to the US, and now I call New York home. My story is a journey of feeling, dreaming, searching, making changes, and taking risks that have fueled my creativity, passion, and determination. I spent a long time looking for myself, obtaining various educations, changing professions, places of living, beliefs, and it’s all in the discovery of my purpose—why I am here. I have navigated through many challenges in my life, with each moment serving as a transformational period that molded me. I grappled with decisions, sometimes choosing the right path, and at other times, making mistakes. My life resembles a vibrant carousel, filled with special people, spiritual experiences, diverse cultures, religions, mentalities, music, art, nature, and the profound emotions of love and joy. It has been a journey to learn and my passion to try to understand more in this world. I focus on abstraction, collages, street art, figurative art, surrealism, and cubism in my paintings. As you can see, my art can delve into two surreal worlds: one dominated by structure, collage, cubism; the other is free form, street art. My art style has transformed dramatically since I started to paint. I wondered what my style is, what I can do differently and uniquely. I really like creating collages, enjoy experimenting with shapes, adding faces, incorporating little characters, exploring the impact of adding new layers of colors, and observing how a color can appear differently on various backgrounds. And sometimes, I just want to be free from boundaries and follow the journey of my brush, giving my subconscious the freedom to express itself. I draw inspiration from Fabian Vastasimon, JM Basquiat, Gustav Klimt, and multiple established or non established, provocative and experimental painters in modern art all over the world. I'm excited to share my art with everyone, and I appreciate each person who supports my creative adventure.
