Mario Kicker is a contemporary artist who masterfully combines social, philosophical, and existential themes in his work with both depth and a playful lightness. His pieces are a multilayered play with form and meaning, where traditional techniques meet digital media—he creates both two-dimensional and three-dimensional works in which the visible and the invisible form a dynamic field of tension. Kicker’s work is distinguished by: • Diversity of themes: life and transience, growth and change, identity and community, often with a subversive view of established norms. • Stylistic tension: a convergence of craftsmanship, digital technology, and experimental elements.
