Wendy L Seals the creator of Plush Gem Art lives and creates artwork in the great city of Detroit Michigan with its artistic and creativity vibe like no other. Learning to create with a few pieces of gems was quite difficult. Mastering the ability to create an image that is visually and universally recognizable with on average 60 stones took four years to grasp. The canvases of choice are textile, Organzas’ with its own shimmering appeal adds to the artworks elegant nature, and the strong paper product, packaging material. Plush Gem Art studies the edgy topics of valuation and beauty in its artistic practice. With simple tools, adhesives, simple cleaning solutions and techniques the industrious ingenuity of Plush Gem Art is evident. This artwork is a whimsical approach to difficult conversations.
