This artwork showcases a fusion of painting techniques and the processing of materials, including textiles and clay. It begins with a meticulous surface preparation, utilizing the properties of the clay surface with textiles to create texture and depth. Studio photography is employed to capture compositions and timed shots of liquid casting clay molding with embedded textiles, finely woven metals, and wallpaper. This process unveils the tactile qualities and fluid visual elements of the material surface texture. The matte prints serve as the foundation for subsequent steps. Following this, thin layers of acrylic paint are then applied to introduce color and form. The abstract shapes and structures form possible spaces to enter and to paint. The interplay of materials, fluidity, structures, and spaces culminate in a realm of aesthetic illusion that invites engagement. The swift brush strokes and crayon marks are employed with concentration and awareness to finalize the composition.
