Homage or Plagiarism? The shredded artwork by Banksy is the perfect popular culture element to open a dialogue, that forms my body of work named Stampsy… In this piece I wanted to include my sense of humour so chose to destroy my own work. Each piece is frozen in a moment and the shredding also symbolises the end of the monarchy as we know it. Includes 36 hand painted graffitied over genuine vintage stamps, each come with a COA to suggest 36 individual stories and 36 handmade tiny frames. Each work is then destroyed carefully by hand. White stained Wood frame with Vue70 non reflective glass.
