The piece is an abstract visual representation of an act or scene experienced on the last day of 2022. It appears violent but it is actually not. No one actually gets hurt "intentionally". But some people may get hurt, mostly the ones who take part in this or maybe a passerby. Tires are set ablaze and knockout fireworks are thrown in them and we enjoy the sound and adrenaline drive that comes with it. This usually happens all day but is rampant at night. I do mine before going to the church and when returning from the church during the first hours of new year. We spend our last hours of 2022 and the first hours of 2023 in the church. These sounds from the knockout is like a shout for joy and alarm raised in style to mark the end of the year. On 22nd December 2022, The Rivers State Police Command disclosed that the ban on the use of fireworks before, during, and after Christmas and New Year celebrations is still in force across the state.
