ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This piece was inspired by natures beauty of mother earths creations. As the artist, I have always been fascinated by the trunks of trees that twist around on each other. It's that fairytale feel that is brought to life. The other part of this piece is the intricate detail inside of the tree with the tempered glass moving within herself along with the opaque colored gems. They then move to the top with the translucent gems, to the outer leaves in a swirling like fashion. The intent is the reflection of what goes on within Mother Earths life force and what we don't get to see, but only feel. "Tree of Life".
