ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This piece was inspired by my love of birds, which I adore to watch, because they are the smartest creatures. So for this painting I have selected water birds that are particularly beautiful and iconic. They can fly, but also swim, so they connect different worlds and often symbolize renewal of life and wisdom. As for materials, I have used acid-free Fabriano paper 135 lbs for dry and wet techniques, Sakura ink pens and Ecoline watercolor brush pens.The watercolor was sealed. By the way, I was painting these birds, while waiting for my daugther who had swimming classes and this whole swimming pool vibe really got me.
