Born and raised in Sialkot, Pakistan, I never received formal education in fine arts. However, I have been passionately pursuing art for as long as I can remember. My artistic journey began under the guidance of my mother, who taught me how to draw when I was just three years old. My earliest drawings were of ducks, which served as my first artistic accomplishment. While I excelled in my studies, it was in the realm of art where I truly thrived. Throughout my academic journey, I consistently received the highest grades, never falling below an A+ in the arts. After graduating from high school, I found myself with ample free time. It was during this period that I first picked up a paintbrush. Prior to that, pencils and crayons were my best friends. My initial painting was a calligraphy piece featuring a verse from the Holy Quran: "حسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل" (Allah is sufficient for us). It turned out remarkably well, and it felt as if I were destined to paint. Ever since that moment, I have been immersed in the world of painting. My preferred medium is mostly oil on canvas, although I also enjoy working with graphite and charcoal pencils. Occasionally, I combine various media to create unique effects. I like to experiment with different techniques, but expressionism remains my favorite. I strive to incorporate texture into my paintings. Hyperrealism, Sufism art, and Islamic art form the foundation of my style, and at times, I blend them all with a touch of contemporary abstract art. The choice of colors by Afremov and the impressionism of Van Gogh have always been significant influences on my work. Van Gogh's famous quote, "I dream my painting, and I paint my dream," resonates deeply with me, as painting has become my anchor. It has been a constant source of solace during challenging times and has accompanied me through personal hardships and emotional breakdowns. Painting instills a belief in myself and my abilities, ultimately reminding me that I am ENOUGH.
