Artist / Creative - Memphis, New York, San Francisco . . Everything 100% hand-drawn. . . Former Award-Winning Copywriter / Art Director in NYC / SF . . Pieces tend to focus on artists, musicians, and athletes, combining extensive inventive linework with complex geometric backgrounds, vibrant hits of color, and often overcoats of gold leaf or acrylic as accents. Each piece takes anywhere from 40 to 120 hours, and every element is fully hand-drawn. Quick Bio - I grew up the son of a professional artist, as my mother has exhibited pieces all over the world since I was a child. I attended college on an art scholarship, where I studied both art and creative writing. After graduating with a degree focused in both fields, I worked in NYC as as Art Director for a year before switching over to a Copywriter - where I wrote ads for a dozen major brands, filming commercials everywhere from Castles in Bulgaria to front row of Fashion Week in NYC, and winning multiple awards including a Gold Lion at Cannes. I worked at two of the major agencies, one in New York and one in San Francisco, for six years before leaving advertising to pursue art full time, something I'd always wanted to do and had been pursuing in my spare time for years.
