This piece is inspired by and refers to an earlier piece of mine “And the Spirit Hovered Over the Waters”. If those eggs are cracked, letting creation unfold, then this egg is calm and intact amidst the ever changing tide and crashing waves. A peaceful timelessness glows around this egg like a halo. The sea is often referred to when discussing the collective unconscious and early memory, and a fragile egg encases infinite potential contained consciousness. The number 0 is the beginning and the end, outside of time, and is shaped like an uncracked egg.
