#004 - even chinese flowers grow on City's buildings Painting

“ My works are "leaks" from the real world, hence bordering on surreal. ” My drawings and paintings often follow the lines of my thoughts, undulating curves, spiral shapes, along with surreal looking masses. I use these styles in combination to show the movement and unruleliness. Sometimes they are complex and dizzying. My paintings are influenced by my surroundings colors, shapes and lights combined with my feelings, my thoughts and my concerns. It all blends together and creates a tangle of colors, shapes and words. distorting the reality I vomit from my brain. The underlying meaning is in a psychological context, whether overt or implied. My art is a kind of "release" of emotions .. a way of "hiding" them on the canvas without express outwardly .. and I must admit to find it therapeutic. Some of my influences over the years have definitely been music, my greatest companion when painting. My web design work over the years has made my work more graphic, and healed my spirit, always eager to create.
