This is the 23rd work of a series called "九点" in Japanese (pronounced "q-ten", meaning "nine dots/points"). The nine-dot pattern symbolises the human race (for no reason); we are all different and it's fascinating, we are all imperfect and it's fascinating. I am viewing this series collectively as a big one artworks that hopefully will connect people from all walks of life. I'm still experimenting how acrylic paint works. While acrylic pouring can be excessively wasteful, I'm trying to minimise waste. Also, I only mix water in acrylic paint. Acrylic paint can be painted over, and this work was finished by covering up earlier errors. * I can't afford to hire a professional photographer to take a photo of my work at this moment, and I tweaked the photo using Picasa 3 myself.
