ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is the 60th work of a series called "九点" in Japanese (pronounced "q-ten", meaning "nine dots/points"). I am viewing this series collectively as a big one artwork that I hope is shared by and connects people from all walks of life all over the world. I was extremely happy with the textured background, and I wanted to make the silver dots more subtle to enhance the background, but I used my fingers to apply silver and I ended up covering most of the background with silver. And again, after I applied glossy spray to finish/protect the artwork, reddish ink showed up. * I took and tweaked the photo myself.
