#10. Ira. SoZnanie. Painting

I’ve started Russian Women Series it in December 2021 with a portrait of Jenya. I had been thinking to paint her for a couple of months. I don’t know whether her open back attracted me or something else. I’ve spent 10 years in special treatment of my vertebrae, that is why back is symbolic. All the collection have had a huge impact on me and helped to self grow in many questions as a person / woman and to become more brave in portraiture as an artist. No 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9 were immediately sold. Four are available. It was a last portrait in my series. #10. Ira is a famous Russian psychotherapist. Her impact during last years is huge. She has helped a lot of people to go through COVID and through anti Russian campaign in March, cause everyone were shocked, frustrated and lot of people got and still have real depression after the military conflict in Ukraine has began. She is issuing her fist book this summer. I plan to present it with her autograph to the customer of the portrait. The portrait is taking part in competition in Russian State Art Union. Results will be in summer. Presentation of the portrait was accompanied by Hans Zimmer “The cornfield chase”. The main idea was to share with others a strong person, whom I lean in during this crazy times…
