This is the infamous 13th Hole at Augusta where the Masters Golf Tournament is held every year. I have always admired this setting with its lush greenery, the pink azaleas in full bloom and Rae's Creek that winds in front of the green. From the tee to the green, there are approximately 1600 azaleas making this hole truly amazing in springtime. This scene is probably the most popular hole used in golf course paintings due to its incredible beauty and layout. I have been commissioned to paint this scene on several occasions.

For this particular painting I chose to use acrylic rather than oil due to time sensitivity. It is framed with a high quality wood frame and ready to hang. The overall dimension including the frame is 38 1/2" H x 48 1/2" wide.

I was born in Miami, Florida in 1959, but grew up on the southeast Georgia Coast, surrounded by Jekyll and St. Simons Islands; and the beautiful marshlands known as the Golden Isles. This is where I fell in love with the outdoors and the desire to capture and put on canvas the beauty all around me. I currently live in Columbus, Mississippi. My inspiration comes from all that God has created such as the beauty of a richly colored landscape after the rain, the ever changing ocean tides, and the sun as it dances across the marshlands. My style is realism, and I strive to capture my subject as close as possible to how it was created. My goal with each piece is to engage the viewer, maybe stir up a long forgotten memory, or simply to make someone smile. My work is displayed in Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina and Texas in many private collections, restaurants, and offices as well as the Chateau Elan Golf Club and Winery in Atlanta, Georgia.
