Anthony Lewis is a self-taught artist born in raised in Camden, NJ. Anthony began drawing while attending high school, but put it on hold to pursue a life in the Army and eventually joining the fight against HIV/AIDS. Anthony continues to enjoy capturing his daughters through his art as well as other aspects from his life experiences. His style concentration varies which includes urban abstract with a flare of realism that engages your visual senses using mediums as; Acrylic, Oil, Charcoal, and Mixed Media. Anthony has exhibited at: Delaware Center for Contemporary Arts, 2014; Wilmington, Delaware. Michaels Cafe' 2015, Columbia, South Carolina WOW (Walking on Water) Productions- Ulterior Motives Stage Play August 2015 Some of his influences are but not limited to; Frank Morrison, Ernie Barnes, C’ Babi Bayoc, Charles White and Eric Frances.
