I was born in 1932 in part of Yugoslavia, which is now Croatia, where I received my school and university education. I also attended university in Australia. I have been living in Australia from 1959, at first residing in Sydney until 1970, and in Melbourne since then. While living in Sydney I continued painting, holding two one man exhibitions. However, due to family reasons, as well as business commitments, when I moved to Melbourne, I stopped painting for some twenty years. At the end of 1990 I took early retirement and started to paint full time. I held number of exhibitions, the last two being in New York, Andre Zarre Gallery, and in Melbourne, Cambridge Studio Gallery. The Artist Statement.
