Guy Cardon is a contemporary Belgian abstract artist. He was educated at St. Luke's School of Arts in Brussels where he studied interior design, drawing and painting. His work can be found in private and corporate collections. - I want more than just visual pleasure. I am interested in the strength of structures, in the energy of colors. And in how I can make them work together to evoke feelings and emotions. - I like balance and simplicity. My compositions are utopian attempts to offset the chaos surrounding us... and maybe also to tame the inner chaos! - I take great pleasure in revisiting 20th-century modernism, from the Bauhaus to Hard Edge, from Constructivism to Minimalist Art, from Cubism to Color Field painting.
