About The Artwork
80th Street #2 (acrylic on canvas "14x11") is the second in a series of paintings I am working on, which are based on urban architectural and landscape forms rendered in abstract geometric shapes. The overlapping translucent colors used, revel a visual record of the creative process for each painting. There is no need for a frame. The canvas is stapled in the back and the painting travels around all the edges.
