ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A Flower is Born is one of the first works of art I created in 2020. It has a mixed technique of fluid acrylic, sand, colored stones, and gold foil. This painting is part of my series: The Creation and was inspired by nature, especially the plants and flowers. When I was creating it, I thought about how the flowers slowly form from a cocoon and later explode in unique and colorful ways. While painting this flower, I had the Maga flower in mind, as they call it in Puerto Rico.
