Organized chaos is what life has shown me. So in my art I am constantly seeking for balance. I experience patterns in thinking and feeling but also confusion and conflict. Contrast is everywhere. The urge to get an overview of this internal jungle drives me to paint. I am guided by my intuition. My work can be minimal but also very expressive. I prefer to paint (lyrical) abstract. I like paint as it is and often I work in layers to create tension. There is a drive for perfection in details. But I accept imperfection as part of the process. I try to let go and see what comes my way. I do hope to touch my viewers on an emotional level. My paintings may reflect hope and joy but also friction and turmoil.
