A Mile In My Shoes Painting

This piece is one of the pieces that was created from the same color palette as 'Harlem Renaissance' a larger size 24 x 36 x 0.5 inches painting. Like most things and people, as my life changes, so does my art. My expression of thought is evident in the outcome. I see valleys, rivers, rocks, and various obstacles to overcome. At the same time, I see a clearing with light coming through. I hope the viewer also sees a similar image that they can reflect upon. It does not matter if it happens to be a different viewpoint from mine. In fact, that is the point of abstract expressionism. One should be able to align their own story with the painting and have a sense of knowing how the painting might relate to their feelings. As mentioned above, I had paint left from a larger painting and 3 smaller canvases on which I could use the mixed paints. It was created using acrylic paints, and oil pastel sticks, and finished with a gloss varnish. Included in the package will be a certificate of authenticity. It will be signed on the back.
