As an artist, Sherwin’s portfolio consists of works done in oil, acrylic, watercolor, ink, and digital. He is naturally drawn to faces and portraits, and is forever in awe of their unique beauty that is often taken for granted or ignored entirely. With his portraits, he imagines paying tribute to the delicate vessels of our shared humanity, and reflecting it through a lens that is as irreplicable as the subjects themselves. However, his restless compulsion to explore and create cannot be limited to a single subject matter or medium. Besides portraits, he quite enjoys drawing and painting from imagination, where the end result does not necessarily capture a particular likeness, but instead represents a gestating thought or emotion that demands entry into our world.
