About The Artwork
I painted this in a disused zinc plant in Paris, trying to catch the very peculiar atmosphere of the place: high broken glass walls, stairways leading up to the roof, floors full of old zinc objects...and this huge watering can just in front of me, which I discarded for a while before deciding to put it where it belonged, right upfront in my work!
