ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I missed home, so pomegranates came to my paintings as a representative of home. They came to connect me to all memories I had from all the Autumns back home. Now I feel comforted, bringing them to the white space of paper and expressing their essence in the same tranquil way my memories are in my mind. "A Present from Autumn" is a series of pomegranate compositions, using ink, watercolor and colored pencils on paper. Ink and colored pencil on paper (BFK Rives ) Fixative Sprayed.
