About The Artwork

The artwork portrays a woman adorned in a breathtaking pale green robe, her hair a fiery cascade of red, touched with glimmers of gold. As the viewer gazes upon her, they are immediately drawn into the enchanting world she inhabits. The artist's technique is a masterful blend of mixed materials, resulting in a composition that exudes a sense of timeless beauty. Every stroke of the brush seems to freeze a fleeting moment, immortalizing it within the confines of the canvas. It is as if the painting exists in a suspended state, inviting the viewer to join the protagonist in this ethereal slice of existence. In the delicate hands of the woman, nature finds solace. She holds it with reverence, cherishing its essence and embodying its serenity. The vibrant flowers that surround her burst forth with vivacious colors, a celebration of life's rich tapestry. Each petal, each stem, seems to dance in harmonious unison, creating a symphony of hues that envelops the observer. The pale green robe adorning the woman hints at her connection with the natural world. It speaks of growth, renewal, and the cyclical nature of life. Her fiery red hair, tinged with touches of gold, symbolizes passion, strength, and a radiant spirit that burns brightly. As one immerses themselves in the painting, they become part of the scene, embraced by its tranquility and consumed by its beauty. It is a visual poem, a testament to the artist's skill in capturing not just the external features of the subject, but also the essence of her inner world. In this artwork, the viewer finds respite from the chaos of everyday life, transported to a realm where time stands still, and the soul finds solace in the delicate embrace of nature's eternal embrace.

www.kareninafabrizzi.com Saatchi Art NFT artist #SaatchiArtNFTArtist #Fair Director's Pick Saatchi art AAF NYC Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea March 22 – 26, 2023 ART on Paper 2022 New York City I have been always fascinated by nature, the behavior of animals, the way that flowers and plants grow and how we are a big part of it, the subtle injection of ambiguity that blurs the gap between the ordinary and the fantastic. In my work I want to bring nature closer to the observer, to connect people with their roots and memories. Organic elements are essential as they show us, like in a fairy tale, the link between the subconscious mind and the actual world. This, besides having an apparent dark side, also embodies a sense of fragility and Vulnerability, which seems to be a consistent characteristic of my work. Delicate graphite lines, a subtle oil color palette, ink and rice paper all amalgamate to create layer after layer a particularly dreamy look that distinguishes my work. About the technique Each painting that I create is a unique dance with a variety of materials, unique to each work. I often refer back to traditional painting methods when priming the surface and preparing the paints. One of my preferred mediums is egg tempera, which i prepare myself from scratch in the same way that the renaissance masters would have done. I always use oils and inks in my work. The quality of these mediums enables me to build up subtle and rich layers, from which my poetic images appear. Each work is always a battle between exposing and suppressing different areas until the perfect balance of color and form is achieved.
