ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Working in the studio I develop these paintings by first placing a horizon line and begin applying layers of ink with a natural sponge. This begins to imply ground and triggers memory whereby I begin to "find" the composition. This painting is set in a minimalist frame of grey-green trimmed in gold. the image is 6" x 12".
